Luxe Pack Shanghai 2012 has announced that the 2012 edition has been rescheduled due to a Chinese holiday, and will now take place from March 28-29, at the Shanghai International Convention Center, instead of April 3-4, as originally planned. The change occurred due to a recent official notice from the Chinese government, concerning what it calls the Tomb-Sweeping holiday, which will take place April 2-4, 2012, and so will be a legal holiday in China.

Chinese traditional festivals are always set by the lunar calendar, so the dates change every year. In addition, the Tomb-Sweeping Day has not been an official holiday for very long.

The venue remains the Shanghai International Convention Center.
